A Roma community living in two abandoned houses outside a Silesian village of Kunětice has been on the border for a long time – physically (Czech-Polish border is right behind their house), in their everyday life (on the verge of poverty) and psychologically (separated from the mainstream society, cut away from opportunities). They no longer observe old traditions and haven´t adopted new ones yet. They live their independent life depending on allowances, alcohol, cigarettes and children.
